Sunday School

Westoning Baptist Church Sunday School provides children and young people with traditional Christian foundations for life.

  Every Sunday: 9:45 – 10:45am
  Age: 4 & upwards

Our society has largely abandoned the traditional values which were the bedrock of former generations. With this moral collapse, and the difficult situations children can fall into as they grow up, we believe Sunday School work is vital We aim to teach children the timeless lessons of the Bible, by combining the often gripping accounts of people like Moses, Joseph, David, Ruth, the Apostle Paul and the Lord Jesus Christ, with modern teaching aids and illustrations. These materials are used by many Sunday Schools nationally.

  • A Sunday School has been run at Westoning Baptist Church for many years.
  • All our staff are covered by a comprehensive Child Protection Policy.
  • Each week the main lesson is supplemented by a range of activities including singing, and project work.
  • Every week the children are given a take home sheet, so parents know what their child has been taught.
  • Your child will be rewarded for good attendance and for learning memory texts.
  • You will receive a detailed Welcome Pack on registration.
  • Once a year we take the entire Sunday School on an outing.
  • We hold an annual Prizegiving service to which all parents are invited.
  • It may be possible to collect your children.

Why not encourage your children to attend a Sunday School where they learn the great moral principles of the Bible, and the way to find faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for themselves?
